About

I'm part owner of Vanasse Studios, specializing in the commercial / editorial arts. Originally from Phoenix, AZ, I moved to Western Massachusetts to study and fine tune my craft at Hallmark Institute of Photography. Since then I've traveled across the country to assist and learn from some of the best this industry has to offer. Now I'm in the Seattle area working for myself along with my beautiful wife and I couldn't be happier. 

Most of my work is about the personality of the subject. Sitting in front my model with a camera waiting for them to relax to the point where they forget about the camera, the lights and start acting like themselves. It's a study of the subject and how they want to represent themselves or the character I create for them.  

But that's all deep thoughtful stuff. I'm really an easy going guy who wants to provide the best possible work for my clients.
